What was the illustrator’s brief?
The patient brochure was to be aimed at parents of children with the disease as well as children and young people with the disease. The aim was to provide as much information as possible about the causes and treatment methods of the disease without being overwhelming or frightening.
The benefit for the client
With one of these brochures, the treating physician has an excellent tool at hand to provide factual and easy-to-understand information about the disease and treatment.
The client’s reaction
The resulting brochure was very well received and was expanded and supplemented several times.
